I’m a big fan of Gap and constantly get emails from Gap highlighting new spring trends and new jeans from their 1969 denim line. I saw this pair of striped jeans that I thought were very cool and very easy to DIY myself instead of buying another pair of jeans.
I was shopping for a Mother’s Day gift and a birthday present for my little brother this past weekend when I stopped by Target to browse and found a straw bag in the the dollar spot area. Inspired by HonestlyWTF’s tassel tote post, I made my own version this weekend with the leftover embroidery thread from my DIY necklace makeover.
Portland made me fat. There were so many delicious food choices and awesome food carts to try. I just wanted to stuff my face the entire weekend!
As a festival newbie I had no idea how to dress or pack for Coachella. I obviously have the internet and can see the street style pics, but I had no idea how to prepare for the hot and cold of desert weather.
There were so many things I was unsure of. Should I bring a hat? What kind of hat? Should I bring a jacket? How cold can it really get? How annoying will it get to hold during the day? How the hell am I suppose to fit all the essentials into my purse? Sunscreen? Do I need a bandana for the sandstorms I hear about?
Oh the dilemma! The good thing is that I wasn’t attempting to camp my first time there. I’m not sure if I would have been able to handle figuring out how that whole setup works.
I ordered some jewelry from Forever 21 a few weeks ago and bought some things that I thought looked really cute online, but didn’t turn out so cute in person. Since their return policy is final sale on all jewelry I was stuck with a necklace that I wasn’t very excited about. So I decided to add some DIY magic to it and try to make it into something that I would wear, rather than let it take up space and gather dust at the bottom of my drawer.
