Move over glass slippers here comes an equally awesome glass necklace! I was at Jo-Ann buying some material for a different DIY project when I came across these awesome glass cube beads by Blue Moon. I bought them not knowing what I’d use them for. When I go home, I quickly realized that I loved them most when they were strung together. It’ll probably take you longer to gather the materials for this tutorial than it takes to make this DIY glass necklace!
Take the string of beads off of the fishing line they come on and re-string the beads with the jewelry wire.
Then string on a crimp bead on each end of the beads.
Loop the wire through the jewelry chain and the crimp bead a few times to secure the chain and beads together.
Crimp the bead and cut the excess wire, then repeat on the other side.
Attach the lobster clasp and jump ring, then you’re done!
I love that this is a statement piece without being over the top. Sometimes doing less is more, especially with special glass beads like these!
