Spring, spring, spring! We’re heading towards the middle in the swing of spring here. It’s my second favorite season of the year, second only because my allergies are out of control around this time and I’m semi-miserably buried in a mountain of tissues while I try to appreciate all the greenery and flowers in bloom right now. It won’t stop me from spending time outside and soaking up some much needed sun though!
In the spring, when new buds are flourishing into beautiful full blooms, I feel energized and rejuvenated from it all. It makes me want to try new things and push some boundaries with print mixing! In the last year, I’ve stayed in my neutral lane, keeping my wardrobe minimalist when I can.
But this spring, I’m breaking out of that style rut and adding color back into my life! Botanical prints are huge this season and I’m happy to embrace it with this awesome maxi skirt my sister gave me. I paired it with a classic stripe print that will never get old for me. Watch me eat my words a year later when I post about how I’m getting out of my stripe style rut :P.
