Dip Dye DIY

Growing up I loved getting to dye things, from Easter eggs to science camp shirts. I loved getting my fingers stained with the dyes and getting to admire my pretty colored hands for the next few days (I know, I was weird). Take tie dying from childish to chic with some dip-dying that will take under an hour to make!

Prepare your fabric dye in the medium sized tub. Make sure to follow the instructions on your dye packet.

Tie your skirt together with a rubber band to help it fit in the tub easier. Dip the end into the fabric dye and hold still for about 10 minutes (it’s a great arm workout!).

This is about seven minutes in. You can adjust how high you want your dye to go up. The longer you leave it dipped in the dye the higher it will climb!

After it reached the height you want then the skirt out of the tub, allow the dye to sit for a day then launder. Now go wear your new skirt!
