In My Bag: Lakeshore

IMG_0986

Every year a group of my friends and I go on a snow trip to catch up with each other, relax and have some fun in the snow for a weekend. Because California is in an extreme drought, I’m not sure how much snow there will actually be, but I’m looking forward to spending a cozy weekend in the cabin with a fun group of people.

In my bag for this trip are tons of cozy knits to snuggle in while lounging around.

If we do wander outside for a hike or hitting the slopes this weekend, I packed some more practical snow clothes.

I’ve actually been wearing long-johns and thermal-wear now in 50 degree weather, I feel like I should layer up even more for my time in the cold.

Maybe if I layer on the socks and beanies, it will help.

Because of the historic blizzard that hit the east coast earlier this week, I saw tons of great lists on how to  survive in the cold. I’ll definitely be referring back to them if I ever move out to a place that snows.
