Christmas is right around the corner. Yesterday, I started posting about last minute gifts that you can quickly and easily make. Today’s DIY features leather bracelets that you can make in five minutes or less.
2mm Leather Cord – you can choose to use whatever type of leather you would like. I found using suede was easiest.
Beads (optional) – Make sure they are large enough to be easily strung onto the leather cord.
E6000 (optional) – you can use the glue to secure your knots, but if you tie them properly they should stay on their own. I would also worry about gluing the knot to the body of the bracelet and not being able to adjust the bracelet size. If you do choose the glue I would suggest using a toothpick to help with precision application.
I was inspired by 2Hello Natural’s Rope Bracelets for Dad. I thought I could make them with leather instead of para-cord.
I followed her directions on how to make the infinity knot bracelet. And was inspired to string a large, statement bead through a few bracelets instead of tying a knot.
If you choose to string a bead onto your bracelet, I suggest tying a not on either side to keep it in place.
