Last week I showed you how to make votive candle holders out of decorative gourds, this week I want to share with you how to make some easy stacked pumpkin candles.
When I bought the gourds last week it had come in a grab bag with other mini pumpkins. I originally wanted to use the pumpkins for something else, but after I made the gourd candle holders I was obsessed with figuring out a way to use the mini pumpkins with them.
Mini Pumpkins – check to make sure they are bruised or have nicked surfaces because they will go bad faster if they do.
Votive Candles – or you can use tea candles, but I personally think votive candles look better.
E6000 (optional) – or some other type of glue would work too.
Remove or trim the pumpkin stems off with the floral cutters.
Optional step: submerge your pumpkins into a bleach and water mixture so they will last longer.
You can stack the pumpkins or you can leave them unstacked.
If you do stack the pumpkins use the E6000 to secure them into place.
Use the E6000 to glue the candle into place.
Once the glue as dried, go display them with the gourd candle holders you made!
