The great thing about the Bay Area is that there is always interesting and fun events happening each weekend. This past weekend I went to Brit+Co’s Re:Make craft event and the Ghirardelli 19th Annual Chocolate Festival for a day filled with crafting and sugar highs.
The Brit + Co Re:Make event was tons of fun with tons of free crafting and DIY stations. I felt like I was in heaven because I was surrounded by so many other people who loved crafting as much as I did. And the best thing of all was that it was free!
I brought these two non-DIY-enthusiasts along. They were nice and let me go off to craft to my heart’s content.
I was too distracted with all the different booths to take many pictures, so please forgive me. You should take a look at Brit+Co’s event site to get a better idea of how much was going on at Fort Mason.
After we (really only me) finished crafting the three of us walked to Ghirardelli Square for their 19th Annual Chocolate Festival. We were all too busy stuffing our face with chocolate to take many pictures.
These were the only two that I managed to get. Check out Ghirardelli’s event site and mark your calendar for next year’s festival!
Were you at either of these events? Know of any other crafting, DIY events like Re:Make? I’d love to go to more of them!
